We had a wonderful family reunion. We highly recommend the two trails nearby (within walking distance) Swift Creek Lookout, a moderate mountain climb, and Cranberry Marsh Loop, great wildlife to explore. Also, the local brewery has great beer! Definitely check out the place if you have time. Hope everyone has a wonderful stay like we did! Cheers!

Wir hatten einen wunderbaren Familienurlaub im Skyline House in Valemount. Das Haus ist mit sehr viel Liebe zum Detail gestaltet, hochwertig ausgestattet, äußerst sauber und zentral im Ort von Valemount gelegen (fußläufig zu Supermarkt, Tankstelle, Bank, Post etc.). Wir haben unseren ersten gemeinsamen Urlaub als Patchworkfamilie dort verbracht (7 Personen). Das Skyline Haus bietet ausreichend Rückzugsmöglichkeiten. Im hinteren Bereich befindet sich ein "Kinderzimmer" mit zwei großen Stockbetten (untere Betten sind Queensize), ein Elternschlafzimmer sowie ein Badezimmer. Im vorderen Bereich des Hauses befindet sich noch ein weiteres Schlafzimmer mit zwei Queensizebetten und einem eigenen Badezimmer. Es gibt auch eine kleine Waschküche mit Waschmaschine und Trockner. Wir haben diese Möglichkeit gerne genutzt, da wir insgesamt drei Wochen in Kanada unterwegs waren. Unserer Meinung nach ist das Schmuckstück des Hauses der Küchen- und Wohnbereich. Wir haben jeden Abend gemeinsam in der großen Küche gekocht. Dort fanden wir alles was wir brauchten und noch mehr - u.a. zwei Kaffeemaschinen (Kapsel und Filter), Mixer, Backblech, jede Menge Geschirr und Töpfe jeder Art und Größe. Im Garten, der ebenfalls sehr liebevoll gestaltet ist, gab es außerdem einen Gasgrill und eine gemütliche Feuerstelle, die wir gerne abends genutzt haben. Für die Kids war der "Game Room" das Highlight - mit Billiardtisch, Tischfußball, Dart und sogar einer Playstation. Im Wohnzimmer gab es eine riesen Auswahl an Filmen und einen TV mit Netflix. Auch die Internetverbindung klappte einwandfrei. Wir hatten das Skyline House 9 Tage gemietet. In jedem Bereich wurde eine kleine Erstausstattung zur Verfügung gestellt, zum Beispiel Kaffeekapsel und Tee, Salz, Pfeffer etc. in der Küche, Toilettenpapier, Waschmittel, Abschminktücher, Duschgel und Shampoo in den Bädern... Wir waren während der heißen Sommermonate in Valemount. Das Haus ist gut isoliert und bietet eine Wohnraumbelüftung, auch wenn es draußen brütend heiß war (35 Grad!), war es im Haus angenehm. Alle Fenster sind zudem mit Insektengittern ausgestattet. Die bösen Moskitos konnten nicht rein :-) Der Kontakt mit Lorelei hat im Vorhinein, während des Aufenthalts und bei der Rückgabe einwandfrei funktioniert. Wir können die Unterkunft sehr empfehlen und werden diese bei unserer nächsten Reise wieder buchen.

We had a wonderful stay; the house was perfect for us to have meetings and cook some meals together. We were blown away at the beauty of the design. This house was much nicer than staying in a hotel!

The house is so well-equipped, it's hard to leave. We will absolutely be back! Thank you again for all the great dining tips - we tried both Caribou Grill and the Riverside Cafe in Tete Jaune. Everything was perfect.

It's very considerable with everything we needed. The games were fun with so many varieties. This is going to be a lifelong memory for me and my family. We love this place so much. Thanks for the great house and your hospitality. It was very easy to cook here. We enjoyed a morning in the sun on the patio and dinner outside. Had some great views of Mt. Robson on our trip to and from Jasper. Saw the salmon coming up Swift Creek to spawn. Had a leisurely hike into Kinney Lake. A beautiful hike and lake. This is a long way from Boston, MA USA but we hope to be back in BC. Thank you so much
